Thinking about tt the g and i would like to put a revup in the bay. Could this be done and what would need to be changed out? I am assuming with an ecu and maybe a tranny swap this should work fine? Correct me if i am wrong.

 

you just need a new ECU and the longblock. A ton of work for only exhaust cam timing

REV-UP has more than just exhaust cam timing.

Stronger pistons, different cams, better springs...

 

Not to mention more horsepower and a stronger block. It all seems to easy to be just an ecu and harness.

What is exhaust cam timing or are you saying those are a pain?

 

^he's saying the main diff between stock motor and REVUP is varible exhaust valve timing (which it is, but there are other differences)

 

the REVUP motor will also use wideband o2 sensors, so you will have to change out those and the connectors as well.
