5AT Revup

I have read in several threads that the only models that come with the revup engine are 6mt's. I have an 06x 5AT and I believe it is a revup engine. Am I nuts?

Yep. Rev-ups only came in 05+ 6MT's.

What makes you think your 5AT is a rev-up?

I wish my 06x was a REVUP.

What makes you think yours is?

I stand corrected, I guess it must be called something else when you downshift with the 5AT and the rpm's actually start lower than the motor was turning and wind up to the actual rpm's.

More than it's worth to gain 18HP and the potential of oil consumption problems

+1

Not worth it at all compared to the cost. Just boost it instead.

This maybe a silly question, but is their somewhere on the engine or where I can look up to see if I have a rev-up engine just to be certain.

You have an 06+ 6MT, there is no uncertainty. It's a rev-up.
