^^^ its a pretty easy install... MD website has a DIY video - or I'm sure if you find a forum member that is local they'd help you lout... a 6 pack or lunch is about how much it should cost.
I wouldn't worry too much about it though... or stress about getting it installed. It is a good option to have - but honestly, you aren't going to tell a difference when you drive it...

If you drove a car with & then drove a car w/o, I'd bet you would never know the difference.
The spacer itself is the most important piece
As long as you have the copper kit installed at the throttle body, you should be fine. Seeing as how you'll be in the snow, I don't think you'll need the aramid gasket for cooling lol. I'd double check your throttle body just to make sure everythings installed, seeing as how your mechanic didn't do a good job the first time. Don't want your throttle body freezing up now.
So we're all in agreement that im okay without the aramid gasket? (which is kind of nice because currently I cant find it).. I just dont want to have wasted a ton of money getting the copper iso and not be getting any of the benefits.
OP you are fine as is... but get some refund (on principal if nothing else).
This was about a year and a half ago, I cant even remember how much it was, maybe 125 I think for the installation. I doubt I can go back and say something about it..
yep - kinda late now... why bringing it up so late?
I dont know.. I always kinda wondered about that piece that was never installed, and was just reading about the mods I have put on already. Decided to see if it was important or not..
