I thought I heard 05's get variable exhaust timing.

Now, that would be very sweet ... but I'd highly doubt it for this gen. In fact, through a fairly reliable source (let's just say), it was hinted to me that it is mostly ECU and possible exhaust retune. We will know in a couple of months.

ECU we can copy i'd assume and the exhausts will be sold in whole peices i would think when people start modding the 05's. No need to pay for a new G. The interior shots are growing on me I will say.

I honestly dont understand how people say exhaust and a few other things dont help, i put exhaust, test pipes, intake, pulley,s grounding kit with ecu wire and my car is a whole new beast, seriously. Not just noise, i have beaten and kept up with cars unimaginable before i modded my car, and this is all on 19's!! Take a look at this thread in the sedan forum, i beat an S4 v8 by a bumper tonight and got props for it also, i know sixfive feels me, this car isno joke witht he stuff i put in it but still not quick enough for me. Martin, your car will NEVER be fast enough for you. I feel you too...

What do you run at the track? If you've never officially timed your car, how do you know your really making more HP? Street races are so subjective, I could win one and lose the next all to the same car.

So true. I lost a battle merging on an on ramp with a Ford Focus once because I forgot I was in MM. LOL.

HAHA true, what it is, is that before with just my intake i couldnt hit 125-130 like anywhere it would climb like you dont evne understand how slow, now 60 comes around in no time and i could top my car out at 145 (havent gone faster) like nothing, well it takes some time but i beat a Gcoupe 6spd by 2 cars up to 145, and it was a member here, my boy!! On a Gtech i ran a 5.43, and 14.17 with my 19's!! Even if not that accurate thats pretty low, i cant wait to track it i just have no one to go with, and there arent any by me. NY sucks for tracks, i will track it soon and now im thinking, i could tell when ever person shifts in their car and that's when i catch them, i alwasy drive in MM mode with no exceptions, i drive it like a pro and can handle this car like you have no idea LOL!! Its making me think damm do what everyone is saying to do, make it a sleeper and turbo it instead of going to a coupe 6spd or m3, but its just not the same, now im also thinking i dont think i could ever drive faster than i do in my car ex. shifting with a 6spd!!

Stay with the sedan, I think its a much more classier car, plus more and more coupes are popping up on the streets these days. I don't really believe in the HP advantage of the coupe over the sedans especially seeing tons of dynos of our cars in person and on the forums. You get a lighter car (not by that much) and better aerodynamics (not by much either, but its there) and only slightly less rated HP. It's actually a lot closer than most people think when they read the marketing departments efforts of inflating the coupe's HP rating. Plus you get a bigger back seat, 4 doors, and a large trunk. Why give that up. These are just my opinions and I don't think the sedan is better than the coupe, but for my needs, it was.

Plus, I love the look on people's faces when I spray the nitrous. However, we don't get a change to get the Brembo's unless we go after market.

Re: Dyno concludes bolt-ons, TS are largely bunk

Neff, that's why I just bought a 4080 box, 10w6v2, hifonics bx1500, zeus 6400, focal components, (2) 1.5 farad caps and Sirius radio. The car is as fast as I plan on making it, so i might as well enjoy the experience of driving it around. It also helps that I just bought a Honda CBR 1000RR. If I want to go fast I just hop on that! Any car that can run high 13's to low 14's is fast enough. Get a project car that goes faster and work on that because you know it won't be as dependable as a Naturally Aspirated Nissan engine. I still laugh when I see a guy during the week in his daily driver "race" car on the side of the road. These cars are wonderfully dependable so I'm going to do everything in my power to keep it that way. That was my reason not to go FI. I don't have time to be stuck on the side of the road at all. I know you guys can feel me on that. Peace. Alan.

Martin,

So what that you're 19, you can fit 4 nice ladies in your car comfortably. When my wife goes out with her girlfriends and I pick them all up, the fact that I have extra room makes me very happy, if you know what I mean
