5AT + transgo + gears+ grounding wires+ nitrous= win?

I have a lot of my mods ready to be put on the G. Pretty much every bolt on plus transgo, 3.5 gears and nitrous. 75 wet shot.

Is this too much load for the tranny? Too much power? I know the transgo is harsh. I dont want to make it over the top.

The transgo kit will help the trans as long as you have a big trans cooler and that wont be to much for the 5at to handle.Hell i have been running the Greddy twins on mine for well over 2 years and still havent had any problems.....yet.
I was also s/ced for 4 years before that and the 5at is still going strong.I do rec that the trans fluid be replaced every 20,000 miles though as this is what i have done.

You need to get that trans built

You should be fine, just make sure you have a tranny cooler on there. I'd recommend the one I have. It's 11 x 11 x 1.5 from BMM. My tranny used to overheat on the track before this one, now it runs like a champ

+1

Tranny fluid heating up is the only real concern. Throw a cooler on there and you have nothing to worry bout.

the transgo kit is very streetable. you don't notice it much during normal cruising, but you feel it when you're really on the throttle

like everyone said above, get a tranny cooler. the stock cooler is almost non-existent.

You can get them at some of the speed shops like jegs or summit.

I don't know if you'll need the grounding wires, but the transgo + gears + nitrous will probably put you in the 12's depending on what you go with. What is your goal?
