I plan on shipping my OEM exhaust and would like an idea of what it is going to cost me. Anyone have the weight for the OEM catback and the approximate size of the necessary box. Tried looking around and couldnt find it.

I would suggest this.

1) Carefully wrap the midpipe in bubble wrap, paying close attention to wrapping the flanges.

2) Box the muffler.

Ship the items separately. I've bought and sold two midpipes over the years and I've always shipped and recieved them wrapped in bubble wrap. The USPS will gladly take it that way. Shipping the midpipe is around $20 and shipping the muffler will probably cost $25-30, depending on the size of the box. I always use USPS. They're cheaper and FAR more reliable.

I shipped a huge box with my HKS exhaust in it last year for around $80. It was as tall as me (about 6 feet) and about 3-4 feet wide. It was huge, and I'm surprised shipping was only $80ish

get a measurement of the exhaust... ball park it if you need to and go to ups site/fed ex and put those dimension in, weight, and see how much it will cost.

What used to cost $80-$100 to ship a year or two ago is now double.
