If this "chip" doesn't involve actually replacing parts of or the entire ECU, a reflash, or a real piggyback fuel controller like anything APEXi, HKS, Greddy, etc... makes, then it's basically as good as a resistor that makes your ecu think the intake air temp sensor is reading a constant low temperature, which in turn will make your ECU advance the timing, giving you a performance gain.
I seriously wish we could get all responses to say positive things and encourage the purchase so that one of these days someone buys the damn thing and reports back - that way we can have a sticky that says its crap and just link it to all the future chip threads.
