Who makes the OEM dual mass flywheel?
Who makes the OEM dual mass flywheel?
Ok, so after some time searching I couldn't find an answer to this question.
Just wondering if anyone knows who is the manufacturer of the stock dual mass flywheel in our cars? I have an 04 6MT model, and I'm trying see if I can buy the the OEM flywheel directly from the manufacturer instead of Infiniti. I highly doubt Infiniti makes this flywheel, but I could be wrong. I thought might be LUK, but I'm not sure about that. Maybe its Exedy. From what the search engines tell me, it sounds like Exedy makes the clutch for the G so maybe they make the flywheel as well. But, I don't think Exedy even makes a dual mass flywheel. Thanks for your help.

Apologies for bumping an almost 9 year old thread.. but rather than starting a new one, I thought best to reply to what I found through the search.
I was hoping to weigh in on this topic with my own experience as well as ask a few questions.
For me ( '03 Coupe 6MT) the OEM flywheel part number from the dealership was 12310-CD001 (I did not go through the dealership though, I went Luk all around)
Now I am unsure if the parts I pulled are in fact the originals, or possibly replacement ones a previous owner had done.
She had 130k when I bought her so I just assumed the factory clutch had somehow limped & slipped along for years.
I am now second guessing this theory as the bad parts I pulled from mine were:
Luk Dual mass flywheel, Exedy Clutch Disk, Exedy Pressure plate (unsure of throwout bearing & pb bushing brand)
Anyway hopefully this information is helpful, and hopefully there is another thread or person that can help wrap this mystery up.
