nissan matic s and oem coolant prices

I'm being quoted 9.20/qt of the matic and 24.99/gal. of the coolant at a local dealership. Are these good prices?

Don't know about the coolant, but I haven't found Matic S cheaper than your price.

For matic-s thats a good price but screw using oem coolant for that price.I would just get the Prestone 50/50 for all makes and models.

Matic S is ridiculous at the dealerships around here. Best I've seen for it was like $8/qt online. $9 local is a good deal.

$25 for a gallon of antifreeze is ridiculous. I wouldn't do it.

Infinitipartsusa.com had a buy one get one sale of matic s recently. I got a notice about it in my email. They were charging 7.99 for one quart then would match however many you bought. Shipping and handling was reasonable (around $11) and I paid for 4 then got 4.

So nobody here recommends using nissan coolant. For my previous car (Nissan Maxima) it was the complete opposite. Over at maxima.org you would get bashed for putting "junk" like Prestone into your cooling system.

Here check out this thread on coolant. Very informative. I'm going for the Toyota Red. I used it in my Maxima and it was very cool, not to mention very good for the cooling system according to the pros.

I paid $105.95 for a case, thats approx. $8.83 per quart. I bought it from Nissan of Chesapeake VA, from their internet parts dept. on EBAY. I figured this was the best way to go.

Could you post a link? I can't find it on their website. I sent them an email though.
