Hello All,
This is my first post as I am a new G35 owner x2. I recently purchased an 06 and 03 coupe. I am concerned with the 03 as it has 97k. Does anyone have any advice on service that needs to be complete or potential trans/engine issues that occur around that mileage point? Thanks!

 

curious why you would buy 2 of the same car? haha..but anyhow..i think engine/tranny wise, if it hasn't happened already, it's usually good to go. For the 03, your window motor might die soon or door lock cylinoid(sp). I don't recall any major engine/tranny problem on mine.

 

Thanks for the info. I bought two because I am in the car business and got a great deal on both of them at an auction. The wife and I both love these cars so now we each have one.

 

my auto tranny went out after 100k.. thank god i purchased an extended warranty.. infiniti replaced it with a brand new one... saved $7000.. you didn't mention if you bought an auto though..... fyi.. it was my tranny bearing that went bad.. constant humming sound during rev when gears are engaged...

 

yeah my window motor kicks in and out here and there. My 03 has about 130k on it...and the cd motor is out also...
