Z - Tubes! Polished and others

Well we are getting closer to the final product. I have received tons of emails and PMs regarding the new intake about to come out. This thread is for head counts.. Most of the information can be found Here

Please respond here or let me know what intake you are interested in. Respond with pipe only or full intake if you want the blitz filter included. Also state your finish preference.

This is not binding by any means. I just want to get an idea of what we are getting into and if the interest is high enough we can do an introductory group buy.

Options:

Full intake: Includes pipe, hardware, and filter

Pipe: Includes pipe and hardware.

Finishes:
Polished
Chromed
Carbon Fiber (true carbon fiber)
Red Anodized
Blue Anodized
Black Anodized.

Ok thats that.. Im doing everything I can to expedite this, but i also dont want a rushed product coming to market....

Re: Z - Tubes! Polished and others

The oem Z-tube has a outside diameter of 3 1/8", the MAF housing is 3". Does this product of yours have a outside diameter of 3 1/8" or 3" on that upper intake tube? If you would guess the answer, please reply that you don't know the dimension.

Re: Z - Tubes! Polished and others

I can measure the diameter and get back with you.

To me it would seem the INSIDE diameter would be most important, as OD is just material and does not affect flow characteristics.

Re: Z - Tubes! Polished and others

Can't decide between CF or polished...can you post pics of the CF tube once it's completed? I definitely want either one of those though.

Black 5AT Coupe, Navi, Falken Koblenz 19", HKS Legamax Exhaust, ZTube/Stillen, Grounding Kit, RSR Springs, Tokico DSpec Shocks

Re: Z - Tubes! Polished and others

Is there any performance benefit to choosing one type over another? (CF vs polished vs anodized?) For example, is heat retention a factor? Thanks.
