Does the 2* advance work well with the 2003 gx35 coupe? I have and armada and i have been encouraged to do this mod. Just wondered if it was good for the g35

Some guys around here have done it and most think it's okay. IIRC you gotta run premium fuel (92+ I think) afterwards, if you don't already.

2 deg of advance is in theory a good thing. But it's probably next to impossible to actually perceive it. But nothing wrong in giving the engine perform at it's best (if it doesn't ping after the procedure and actually make it peform worse).

If you get the dealer to do it, it's probably over $100. Spend just $200 more and you can get a REAL reflash done by UpRev.

^ with uprev, you can get multiple maps - stock, performance (this would be your timing advance map), fuel econ, valet mode, anti-theft. plus you can use two of the maps together as a launch control.

My friend, at 7 posts total, I'm going to suggest either taking a really good look at the tuning section and/or doing a search on "reflash" or "UpRev". Along with actually visiting UpRev's site.
