Coolant drain and refill question....

Coolant drain and refill question....

I just drained the coolant from the radiator and it looks like there is more coolant that drained than the 1gallon i have to refill it? Do i need to buy more coolant or is 1 gallon enough?

The FSM says 9.25qt for engine coolant capacity but that's for the total system. I'm pretty sure when I dropped my radiator coolant it was less than 2 gallons.

You do know that you mix half distilled water and half coolant, right?

That would equal two gallons...

Yep...actually even if it was premixed he'd need to buy two gallons. I just did this last week and it took over 1.5 gallons to fill including the reservoir.
