Replacing the dual mass flywheel with light weight flywheel

Do you need a conversion kit to change a dual mass flywheel to a light weight flywheel? I am going to change my flywheel. I took it to Clutch Mart and they are quoting me with the flywheel conversion kit. DO YOU REALLY NEED THE CONVERSION KIT?
