Re: UV city lights & Led markers

The engine choking problem the car has. They refused to look any further into the problem until I removed every single non-factory component. Even with my car back to factory, they haven't made any progress on the problem.

Re: UV city lights & Led markers

Bah could have been your remote starter if anything. Did you call them or do you bring it to them? I would just go down there and show them the issue.

Thanks - Joey Avino

Re: UV city lights & Led markers

[hijack]They know of the issue. They've had my car for 18 days altogether (3 seperate attempts) trying to fix it. They finally gave up saying they did not know what was wrong, even after $2,000 worth of new parts. They needed to call in a master techinician, but before they do, I would need to remove all aftermarket components from the car. So I removed everything: alarm, remote start, mood lighting, 5.1 system, rear blinking LEDs, sidemarker leds, etc. And just as I suspected, they had nothing to do with the problem, because the car is exactly the way it came from the factory and the problem is still there. Now I wait patiently for the master technician to show up. [/hijack]

Re: UV city lights & Led markers

Thats looks real nice. I bought some wedge style LED bulbs from that same website, however they ended up being purple?? The packaging said "white" and the base of the bulb is white, but the light when plugged up is purple?? Whats the intensity for your white LED's if i may ask?

Looks good Benzito.
Its really hard to get actual "white" LEDs. some sets are better than others. Looks like u got a good set. What wavelength are the UV LEDs?

Re: UV city lights & Led markers

It was a while ago since I did them so I cant confirm details, But it basicly requires splitting open the housings, Cutting the pcb board to fit which requires removal of one of the led's then soldering jumper leads on the pcb board then epoxying them shut.

Re: UV city lights & Led markers

I am considering selling theese if there was an interest for 160.00 a set which includes new jdm nissan clear lenses and your choice of White or Amber Led's. They would be plug and play and would require no wiring what so ever. There are other companies out there such as clearcorners.com selling them at 225.00.

Re: UV city lights & Led markers

Nah man... go for it! I was a bit surprised not that many people were interested, but I stopped actively pursuing it when I got really busy. Plus it seems to be a local thing, considering the three out of the four I made for others were relatively local people. So people local to you might be interested. You also have the UV light thing going for you.
