Automatic Transmission Service Schedule

I have a 2006 G35 Sedan with an automatic transmission. Bear with me, I just love the car, but am not savvy in any way with the mechanics. I want to do right by it, so I was wondering if someone could tell me at what mileage the transmission needs to be serviced. A friend of mine claims that this transmission doesn't need to be serviced - in other words, drive it until it drops. Mileage at this point is 41,000.

Thanks for any input you can give me.

Transmission fluid should be changed every 30k. Matic-S only.

Ye, you def have to do it every 30k. I bought mine with 35k and drove till 40 and then changed it. my next oil change is at 72k miles. I don't know if it was just me or after i did the oil change the car seemed to drive better.

you should do a flush/fill every 30K like mentioned. Be sure that if you do it or whoever does it opens the lines to the cooler as well. It will get out an extra 2 quarts. Plus, you can flush the cooler to make sure there is nothing caught in it.
