Air Bag Light Flashing Continuously

I have a 2003 G35 sedan and I recently removed the glove box. While doing so, I also mistakenly disconnected the large yellow colored connector for the passenger side air bag. Now that I have put the glove box back together and reconnected the air bag connector, the air bag light in my dash cluster now flashes continuously. I tried disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes but that didn't do the trick. My local Infiniti dealer says that I need to bring the car in so that they can turn off the flashing light with their scanner. Is their any way to turn the light off without having to take my car to the dealer? Any help on this matter would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance! Dave A.

Easy fix: Turn the ignition to ON (do not start car) , wait untill the air bag light goes off and turn your ignition to OFF right away before it blinks<< Do this 4 times and then start your car.
Should be gone

That will temporarily work but not forever if he actually has the recall problem. Mine has been on 3 times and reset twice, first reset lasted for a month, second lasted for a few, now I'm just taking my car in friday to get it delt with since it's a recall fix.

I didn't realize there was a recall for this. Is there a TSB for this recall? I looked up my car on alldatadiy.com but I don't see any recalls for the air bag system listed in the TSB's.

A couple years ago I had my airbag light start flashing. I reset the airbag and it has never came back since. I would at least just give it a shot.

Same thing happened to me. Do the reset as stated above and it should remain off.

Made the same mistake.

I just took mine to the dealer when I needed the diff. fluid flushed. They turned it off, hasn't been on since.
