I'm with Nutty on this one. The OEM box seems to work pretty good and the cons of an open-element filter (injesting under-hood air) are known. It would seem that an enclosed box with OEM style ram-intake (term used very loose) and without the obstructions/baffles would be the ticket to a better-performing intake system. Not to mention a slick CF airbox would look great.

Likewise, even a box to enclose this intake system would be appreciated. It gets too hot in the summer out here (West Texas) to be relying on extreme under-hood temps for your intake charge.

And BTW, do you guys have any plans on a Gialla grill replica in CF? What's the skinny on custom jobs?
