You probably over torqued it? Did it break off when you were removing the bolt, or when you were putting the coil back on? Either way, at some point, the bolt was compromised, likely from being overtorqued.

You will have to drill it out. It's a bitch to do. You will need a special bolt extractor kit. You can get it from a local autoparts store. If that does work, get a coil kit, etc. Search the internet for solutions to broken bolts and how to fix them.

EDIT: Also, I cant see from the pic, but is the top edge of the bolt sticking out? Can you wrap a set of tweezers around it and unscrew it?

it wasnt over torqued, i think the bolt was just old. I could tell that the screw wasnt all the way in. And yes the top edge is very slightly sticking out.. im not sure i can fit tweezers around it but ill give it a shot.

How do you know it wasn't overtorqued ? Did you use a Torque wrench ? Those bolts are torqued to 95 in lbs. The bolts are cadmium plated so thier not likely to rust.

My guess is the bolt was cross threaded and overtorqued. Metric threads are very easy to cross thread on these cars.

To fix get a 6mm cobalt drill bit, file top of exposed threads flat, center punch, carefully drill out bolt. Re tap hole.

Your wasting time with a extractor on a bolt that small, it will break if bolt cross threaded.
