I posted in 2007 about a whining or whirring noise coming from under the hood when accelerating with the air conditioning on. I have since brought it to the dealer for another item but mentioned it to the service writer. They replaced the A/C compressor at no charge. Said there was a tech bulletin on the compressor.

However, the noise has come back. I'm thinking it might be the bearing on the belt tensioner because the noise happens only when adding a load to the belt.

What do you guys think?
