I'm feeling for you VRTMattG35....being in the same boat and all.

My next step is to unattached the whole harness from the motor and pin it out from the ECU plug....if I get nothing from that I'll wire in the E-Manage Ultimate and see wether I can Log an error of some kind. All else fails I will have let the E-Manage control the injector pulse.

I will however put up my finding's as it seems know one else on the planet has ever posted up there result's....well not from what I can find anyway!

See my car was running....parked it....came back and was a little hard to start....drove it about 100ft then I reset the ECU(P100 error...my fault forgot to plug the MAF back in a little earlier on in the day)....from that moment onwards the car has not started!

I have also had my ECU running one of my mates cars.....It's gotta be a bad earth or maybe a relay. I cannot see it being a sensor as I to have replaced and tested all of my sensors too. We have even tested the wiring with an oscilloscope!

The signal does not appear to be coming from the ECU for some reason!

Mike......has your garage tested to see if the factory immobiliser in your key is working correctly? I just spoke to a nissan tech and an immobiliser installer and both came up with the same opinion that some nissans use the started as the immobiliser and some use the injectors? .....shot in the dark I guess.

P.S. If this is right you owe me a Xmas gift....lol!

OK so I have some good and bad new's.

At a lot of cost to me and no results Nissan have given up....but I haven't.

3 things
1. On Subaru's if they don't detect oil pressure they will not fire...maybe the oil pressure sensor is stuffed!

2. Could be the BCM....but then again my BCM seems to be outputting the correct signals

3. I purchased a working wreck...I am going to start exchanging parts probably next week sometime....I hope I can get it going. If not looks like I will be going a standalone aftermarket ECU like a Haltech PS2000 or Motec M800...hopefully they will work with the auto gearbox somehow.

Sorry I have no good new's....I nearly cried the other night when Nissan told me they had no good new's!!!!...lol!

P.S. Never been beaten buy a car yet......I'll burn the f#$ken F#$k F#$kity f#$ken thing before I let it beat me!

In my opinion, this doesn't mean that its not the cause. The ECU/key could just not be communicating. Have them pair the ECU and the KEYS at the dealership or a competent locksmith before ruling this out. This is a very common cause of non-start issues.
