Well let me know what u find out cause i have no more ideas either...[QUOTE=jetwreck;5559747]OK so I have some good and bad new's.

At a lot of cost to me and no results Nissan have given up....but I haven't.

3 things
1. On Subaru's if they don't detect oil pressure they will not fire...maybe the oil pressure sensor is stuffed!

2. Could be the BCM....but then again my BCM seems to be outputting the correct signals

3. I purchased a working wreck...I am going to start exchanging parts probably next week sometime....I hope I can get it going. If not looks like I will be going a standalone aftermarket ECU like a Haltech PS2000 or Motec M800...hopefully they will work with the auto gearbox somehow.

Sorry I have no good new's....I nearly cried the other night when Nissan told me they had no good new's!!!!...lol!

P.S. Never been beaten buy a car yet......I'll burn the f#$ken F#$k F#$kity f#$ken thing before I let it beat me![/QUOTE

OK so a happy day for me....got the f#$ker running!

Before I tell you what was the problem these are the other thing's I trying from the running wreck I bought.
*Swapped out the BCM - no go
*Swapped out the PCM - no go
*Swapped out the ignition - no go

Ended up being the engine harness.....something has decided to **** itself....I am counting my lucky star's the wreck cam along when it did otherwise I would be putting in a standalone ECU at about this stage.

I hope you get you car running soon mate....all the best!

P.S. Lot of reading and a lot of effort went into this....a total of 7 people looked at the car....it was only after the wreck was bought and we could exchange parts that the results showed.....my thanks go to everyone that helped.

i know when i had my clutch and flywheel replaced, it was having the exact same problems as you are having, the crankshaft positioning sensor was not in the correct position. if it is not in the correct position then you will get nothing!!! no power, no spark, nothing! id look into!

I know this thread is old but I just stumbled upon it (I forgot I replied). I asked him because VRT was a shop in Cali that ripped a bunch of people off and I was wondering if the OP had any affiliation with them or was a possible previous customer.

Sorry to bring old thread back.

Isn't the sensor goes in same direction due to bolt location?
How did you make an adjustment?
Thanks,

Exclamation please someone help me wiring problem now engine wont start

i just bought a 03 G35 Coupe Auto tranny, Monday and it was at the shop Thursday !! the dash lights wouldn't come on while the head light s was on so i was messing with it and found out the dimmer switch was bad so i by passed it. well then it started smoking inside the car and i could smell wires burning , so i pulled over and turned it off and pulled the bat cable off, it melted some wires together behind the dash and possibly messed up the ecu, or something like that cause now the engine wont start and its a new motor and ran like a champ before this happened any help would be greatly appreciated

but really, take it to a professional. you smell something burning and see melted wires, don't try it yourself. there shouldn't be anything wrong with the engine..

note: bypass only if you know what you are doing. The part you bypassed may have had an internal fuse/relay so it could have caused problems. Tracking the issue down at this point could be annoying. Electrical gremlins are always a PITA.
