see the second pic in this thread? The "Z-tube" (the tube that almost touches the engine cover) is $140.

I inquired about the filter and this is what they told me.
The filter is a cotton KN element enclosed by the CF to reduce air intake temperature.

so how is this better than the regular z-tube???

 

Does this intake tube connect to the stock air box or the
Stillen air box?

if this is supposed to be a replica of the z tube, why does the z intake look so much straighter? maybe the angle? i dont know, the G35 one looks like an S shape.

yes. im waiting for my own purchase to arrive. just b/c UT doesnt put a big fan in the front to increase hp gains like engine doesnt mean that there arent any. plus, i think it just looks an *** load better than any other intake on the market. the only one i would get over this one is the gruppe m, if it was available for about a 1/4 of the price.
