Question on stock ecu for Vortech kit

So just finished the install of Vortech V3 complete kit with Unichip Piggyback ecu and the piggyback didnt match the stock ecu pin locations. Sent the Unichip back to Vortech assuming I was given the wrong one and got a call back from them saying it was correct. so I sent pics back to them of my stock ecu harness and they said that their engineering dept have never seen an ecu like the one I have. They have asked for my vin to look things up and waiting for response. I bought the car new from the lot so I know nothing has been done to the stock ECU. Does anyone know if this can be correct, do I have some odd ecu in my car that no other 06 coupe has? What the hell? What other options do I have if they say their is no unichip for my ECU? Anyone else have this issue? Thanks for the help.

Let me guess, you have an doggy door 2003 g35 sedan right? Light gray ecu connector.

I have an 06 coupe. And at the risk of sounding stupid.....the stock ECU is located behind the passenger kick plate right? I am looking at the right thing?

I did have the engine replaced through the dealer because of the oil consumption issue but that doesnt have anything to do with the ECU does it?

I do have pics of the stock ECU harness if that helps anyone out there to determine if what I have is normal.
