Throttle/RPM ??

got my G35 not to long ago, love the car... have a question don't know if its a problem or not, try to reaserch it here could't find anything

ok, when i shift gears the RPM's take about a second or so before they start to go down. if i shift gears quick they actualy go down when i relese the clutch and the next gear is engaged. yesterday i was racing it hard and the engine sounded like it was accelereted the hole time cause the RPM's would stay to the roof .. I have had cars before that have the sensors for the accel and throttle body, none of the cars actualy work like this I haven't had the G too long so i'm wondering if this is normal or if i have a problem.
if someone can please let me know what is the case and if in deed is a problem how to fix it....

thankx

The first thing that comes to mind is that you might have still been pressing the throttle pedal while the clutch was disengaged. If you have the rpms high, your foot completely off the throttle, and press the clutch pedal all the way down, do the rpms immediately begin to drop?

my foot is completely off the gas pedal...everything that i describe above is taking my foot completely of the accelerator.
