I have an 04 g35 coupe with 80,000 miles on it. Its last oil change was 3200 miles ago. Last night I moved it from one side of my driveway to the other and it started up and ran normal. Today, I got in and the engine didn't want to turn over, then when it finally did, the rpms kept dropping as if the car was going to die and there was a steady clicking noise coming from under the hood. As I pushed the gas (to raise the rpms) the clicking speed increased and got louder. Any ideas as to what this would be? Common problem? Estimated cost? Any information is appreciated. Thank you.

 

It is tough to diagnose things from descriptions but.....rod knock . Which would mean a engine rebuild or buy a used engine . Get it checked out but it doesn't sound good by your description.
