Resetting ECU after installing Spacer, did I do it right?
I installed Motordyne plenum spacer 2 days ago. I did not want to mess with ECU but then I figured I should try and I followed the instructions on the back of the Motordyne instructions. Step by step.
At step 5. The CEL should blink slowly (not quickly as stated in the instruction).
At step 7. The CEL should blink quickly to erase ECU memory (not slowly as stated in the instruction).
After I am done with the procedure. I restarted the engine and the CEL was off.
I am just wondering, did I do it right since the CEL blinks opposite compare to the instruction. Someone please let me know. Thanks.
BTW, do I have to reset the throttle body as well, I did not touch the butterfly. Everything seems fine.

You should be good so long as CEL is off. You don't need to reset the TB.
I usually just disconnect battery for 10 min and pump the brakes a few times which drains any capacitive charge that could remain in the system. Seems to work just fine cept you wind up resetting the radio presets, clock, etc.
