new spark plug after 20 minutes driving- 1 clean 1 black

750cc injectors just newly cleaned and balanced
haltech ecu (on basemap for 750cc)
45psi fuel pressure at idle

Crusing for about 20 minutes with NEW spark plugs, cylinder 2 looks clean but cylinder 4 is black. i have p0300 code for multiple misfire

is cylinder 4 injector stuck open causing it be black? or something else? #2 normal?

Could be fuel related.

On a sidenote use some anti-seize on them plugs. Its not worth the risk of crossthreading and getting the plugs stuck.

were you getting the code before and thats why you changed plugs? You def. have something going on in that cylinder. valve stuck or injector problem.

did you pull the rest of the plugs? and if so, what was the condition of those?

i'm an idiot. i switched the fuel injector harness around. it's running okay now.

afterwards, a new problem came up and the car didn't start. Ended up being an empty gas tank. When I re-installed the fuel pump basket i guess the stupid floater got stuck which indicated the level was at half tank.
