i know its a ricey thing to do, but to each there own ya know. i was wondering, if anyone knows anyone else who has completed this task or if you have the knowledge to hook up a tach. Ive asked a couple speed shops to complete this task but they really dont have a clue how to do it.. Please help if you can. If not your time is appreciated. Thank You

You can get a pretty good tach signal from one of the coils. However, I have heard that Nissan fires to pulses at low RPMs to keep the engine running smooth, so at idle the guage may be wrong.

\In the VQs there is a coil for each sparkplug, and any coil will do. There are 3 wires on each coil, 2 wire colors are common on all 6 coils. The third wire is a different color - use that wire.
