lol i cracked my very first one too. i just lined it with silicone and it hasnt leaked since and its been atleast a year since i put the longblock in that m35x. if you know some one who can weld aluminum, get it fixed esp if hes plannin on painting it cuz it will leak more likely.
That stuff is pretty damn strong. aluminum weld is the right way to do it though

plastigaged the mains earlier and im within the .0015 range and spec is .0014-.0018 so im runnin std acl main bearings, gotta wait for my manley rods to show up to spec them out. stay tuned folks.......pix of what shows up this week and then it starts gettin nasty

so my revup oil pump came in yesterday, the master gasket kit comes in tomorrow. and my BC stuff came in todayyyyyyyyy 
i think imma skip on doing a valve job since this motor has low mileage. just gonna clean it all up real good. so in that case, i'll put the BC stuff on, bolt the cams down and check the valve clearances. BUT i have a good feeling the heads will start seeing some port work after the weekend

yummy yummy! manley h-beam rods and acl race bearings (rods, mains, thrust washers)
the master gasket kit came in today as well as some new flywheel bolts, crank pulley bolt, and pilot bushing. i have a brand new pivot ball already in my tool box.
and some new pix i took since i washed her up and shined the tires after work today
