Re: Individual Throttle Bodies?

There is no way that's this is worth it.

It has been done in Japan (Tomy Kaira kit), yields 35 hp (from what I hear) and is very loud. Oh yeah, costs thousands asyou mentioned. Far better to get a TT kit and have a 150hp-greater gain.

Re: Individual Throttle Bodies?

but if a company could make this product and sell it to us for $2,000, I believe there would be a good market for it and I believe it should give atleast 50hp or more for our motors.

Re: Individual Throttle Bodies?

found individual throttle bodies for a honda s2000 for $2,800, so if a company makes them for our cars then it should cost around there.

Re: Individual Throttle Bodies?

I asked a company that builds ITB and they said for must cars there is a 30-35 % increase in hp and 15% peak and the company said they will look into it and see if it's possible for our cars

Re: Individual Throttle Bodies?

to receive 78-91hp from individual throttle bodies, I believe this would be a great product for our cars.

Re: Individual Throttle Bodies?

Its not going to add that much HP this was brought up months ago and when looked into it was out of the world to produce. I think whiteg35c had twin trottle bodies if im not mistaken its a custom made kit used the Q45 throttle bodies. for his twin turbo 800hp motor

Re: Individual Throttle Bodies?

The drive by wire and electric motor controlled throttle is necessary to maintain idle [as there is no IAC] and for traction control to function.

Going to an individual throttle system means emission problems and non compliance on the street besides the above non functionality and expense.

With changing the cams [duration and overlap] shorter runners will not accomplish much maybe 10-15-20 HP at the very best.

Since OBD2 requires all systems and sensors to stay in place you can't pass emissions with any real modifications.
