ROGUE ENGINEERING GROUP BUY

Attention to anyone interested in the ROGUE ENGINEERING SHOFT SHIFTER. I have the opportunity to arrange a GROUP BUY from a local distributor. For those that need information on the shifter please visit this link directly from Rogue Engineering.

ROGUE ENGINEERING G35/350Z SHORT SHIFTER

Total cost including ground shipping would be as follows.

20+ Confirmed Buyers $192.
40+ Confirmed Buyers $161.

Payment will be accepted through PAYPAL. If you would like to pay in any other way please email me to confirm the payment method is acceptable before paying. An official list of who is in will be posted as it develops.

This is a rare opportunity. The shifter sells everywhere else for $239 plus shipping so getting in on this group buy would get you great savings of ~20% and ~33% depending on the group size we get. The deadline for this group buy has not yet been set and is still under discussion. If you have any question email me directly at bichans@hotmail.com. Any questions or comments on this group buy of related pricing must be directed to me. Rogue Engineering is the manufacturer of this product and is not setting up the group buy. There has been some issues of people contacting them about the group buy price, but this is not being offer through them. I just wanted to post to get the Group Buy rolling. I will post more details and answers to questions as they roll in.

Pass the word around to all G35 and 350Z owners. The more we get on this the better! Please don't hesitate to email me.

If seriously interested please mark yourself down as follows.

I wish the group buy was around when I bought mine.
A very sweet mod and easy to install. I wouldn't want to go back to the factory shifter. Shifts are smooth, precise and short.

Re: ROGUE ENGINEERING GROUP BUY

In order to keep everyone on the same page I created a link so that we have one common location for the Group Buy List. I will update it as I get PMs or posts from people asking to be placed on the group buy. It seems people are only interested if the count reaches 40 so lets try and get there. Several people have sent me comments saying how great the shifter is...I will try and update the link to show these comments as well. Spread the word!

Re: ROGUE ENGINEERING GROUP BUY

the stock shifter is fairly notchy, especially from 1 to 2. Does this RE shifter improve that, eliminate it completely, or no change?

Re: ROGUE ENGINEERING GROUP BUY

pardon my ignorance, but is there ANY possibility of this affecting reliability of the tranny?

Re: ROGUE ENGINEERING GROUP BUY

P_Diddy and WIZAWUZA,

I have put together some links from the forum where people have discussed the ROGUE shifter as well as its comparison to the B&M shifter. I posted them at the bottom of the follow page:

Rogue Group Buy List, Info and Links

From what I have read the Rogue shifter is very reliable. There was some people mentioning some problems with the B&M shifter but those that have installed the ROGUE only have good things to say. Check out the links and read for yourself, you might find some helpful information there.

Again, I am very eager to get in on this group buy as well so I figure any and all information we can get and organize in one place will be helpful to others making their decision.

Thanks for the post, dont hesitate to ask away. I'll try and hunt down answers as fast as I can.

Re: ROGUE ENGINEERING GROUP BUY

Re: ROGUE ENGINEERING GROUP BUY

P_Diddy,
Thanks for the idea. I figured people would see it here but I posted it in the Coupe and Sedan forum just now as you suggested. I already have it at MY350Z and just hopped on 6MT. What is FRESH A?

Thanks for the post!

scobic, since you are probably not registered on the FreshAlloy forums, I posted it for you.

Re: ROGUE ENGINEERING GROUP BUY

Thanks P_Diddy,

Looks like they aren't too helpful over there with "group buys" created by members. I kind of understand why they do that but it doesnt really give their members any benefits to pay them to be a commercial advetiser with a group buy. Then again, they do have to be fair to people that advertise for them. You'd think a group buy on a short shifter would be allowed, unless one of their paying advertisers makes a shirt shifter that competes with the one from Rogue.

Oh well, thanks for placing the post there anyhow - Let's hope we people on the fresh alloy forum hear about it through other viens of communications.

Thanks again!
