strange noise, help if you can

lately ive noticed a metal to metal sounding noise when accelerating at high rpms. i mostly notice it when in tiptronic and the engine is running at somewhat high rpms like 3 or 4 and then i accelerate more..hard to explain but just sounds like some sort of metal to metal noise mixed in with the exhaust noise. almost positive it nothing to do with my wheel bearings or wheels in general
its a noise that is in direct correlation to the rpms i would say. i kno its kind of out of the blue but any input would be appreciated
got extended warranty so looking to get anything fixed that could cause i an issue in the future
thanks appreciate it alot

Don't have a clue about the noise, but if you've got the extended warranty it makes sense to me to take it in and have the dealer fix it, whatever it is.

Let us know the end result if you do.
