Hey Members,

I am looking at a vehicle currently and the engine sounds like it needs some parts replaced and machine work on the top end. If you hear the car it sounds like a Turbo Diesel from VW. I want you to listed to the sound and tell me what you think is the issue and the cost to fix it. I am guessing it needs new shims and needs to work done on lifters or head. I am guessing an easy $1000- $1500. It might be better just to get a low mileage motor then deal with one that has OC issues and was driven hard.

No hell no I ran from that car since it sounds like total crap and was toast. I paid more for a vehicle with service records, infiniti extended warranty and lower mileage. If I had a vehicle that needed a motor replaced then I would give a call to HAL at DYNOSTY.
