problem with door locks

I woke up this morning and started the car. So far So Good. Went into house for one minute and came out to car, with the engine on, the car was locked. I did have a second key and unlocked it. I removed the key and locked the door. I then open the door with the remote and started the car and the car automatic lock the doors, again. I have a up window mod installed about two months, with no problem. I also have a cut off switch install for my amp about one month ago, with no problems.
The dealer is going to look into for my. Does anyone have any idear, what it can by. Help

Re: problem with door locks

That function runs thru the BCM. If there's a problem with it, the dealer should be able to detect it with a Consult II scanner.

Re: problem with door locks

If you have the window up mod from KP Technologies, it can be set to lock the doors automatically.

If you want to turn that off, I think it goes something like this:

1. Leave door open for the entire procedure.
2. Put key in ignition, turn it on.
3. Click lock 3 times

Or you could just try disconnecting the negative battery terminal for a minute.

Dave: You hit it right on the head. That was the problem. Thanks.
