Weight also comes from the motors for power-recline on the seats now. that is probably 20-30 lbs right there.
I hope Infiniti puts out a MP3 CD changer retrofit for the 03 and 04, but I doubt it. I hate that waste-of-space tape player! I think even old guys (no offense) don't use tapes anymore.

Well, there are no Chick Fil-A's in NorCal (to my knowledge), so the cars that got shipped to CA should have no tape player
I think you can get books on CD now too at the library.
What really should be standard on ALL cars is an input into the stereo. My aftermarket JVC deck had it on the faceplate (on the right side). This would add 50c to every car and make things soooo much simpler for people. Especially with stereos getting integrated into the dashes (and AC units
), it would be nice to be able to plug something in instead of paying over $1000 just to get an aftermarket deck in there.
How do I get on these focus groups to tell the carmakers what people really want?!?!?! Or I could just go apply to a car co; I'm a mechanical engineer so I think I could find work.

...and yes, I'm still under 33 years of age.
