A friendly FYI

I just dropped my '04 G35 coupe off at Infiniti to have the Radiator fans replaced for free.

Apparently this is a common issue with the 350z's and G35's, where the fan clutch begins to slip and not spin when standing still causing the car to run hot. Once you begin to drive the car cools down because the wind spins the fan blades.

My service adviser informed me that this issue is covered for all G's and Z's up 100k miles. doesn't matter how old your car is as long as its under 100k.

If this affects you make sure you let your adviser know that its covered!!!

UPDATE: Work was completed for free as stated. Good luck with yours!

What's better than "Good News" and FREE works too. For all you members with over heating issues, check your fans!

Thanks! I'm going to the dealership this week for some other problems and I'll tell them about this too. This happened to me twice already when at a stand still for barely 5 minutes it overheated...

Should just be 03-04 g35, correct?? Cause those years did not have electric fans
