Stillen Hi-Flo cold air intake
Stillen Hi-Flo cold air intake
Hi, I did not see any links on this- but I am looking to purchase this and wanted to get some opinions as to if its worth purchasing- do you notice any horsepower gain, or sound in engine, is it difficult to install? Thanks.
Horsepower gains are like with any intake (Little to no gain at all). If you get the intake get the Z tube too because without it you wont notice a difference in sound. As for difficulty of install its pretty easy. I am sure there are some articles in the DIY section to help you along, but if you get stuck you can post on the forum and I am sure you will get some help. Have fun.
BTW: I reccomend the stillen over the JWT Pop charger because:
1) Stillen looks stock
2) Stillen is easier to install IMO (BTW I have installed both)
3) Its also better built. The JWT is flimsy.
4) One downside to the Stillen box is that you have to take the whole thing out
and disassemble it to clean. Where the JWT you just unscrew the filter.
Hope this helps.

it to the 350Z intake duct! Togeather, these two mods are great! The sound is
addictive...Stillen CLAIMS 11 HP at 6000 rpm on the sedan. Can you feel the
addition of 11 HP to a 260 HP engine? But I love the mod, definitly makes the
sedan more fun to drive.
