Overheating issues---PLEASE HELP
Is the only differance between the manual and auto transmission the trans cooler? Can I put a manual radiator into the auto? All the ones I find state they are for manual. One example below, also....does it really matter if I buy a $300 of a $150 radiator, seeing as the specs are the same? I was looking at this.

There are different mounting points, i believe.
I'd look at the 2 and 3 core radiators (Mishimoto, KOYO) if you are boosted. they are generally in the $300-450 range but worth it if you are boosted.

also, if you are 5AT you will need to have a trans cooler - so if you don't use a radiator with a built in cooler you will need to run a seperate one for the tranmission.
Well in for an update.
I already had an aftermarket trans cooler on the car. I ordered an aluminum radiator and swapped that in on Sunday. It has been running GREAT! Nice and cool!! Im stoked the issue is finally solved! The old radiator must have had a blockage somewhere in it. It developed a leak right by the water neck the day I pulled it into the garage to switch them out.
