Question Clutch master cylinder upgrade? Help please!

Is there any master cylinder upgrade or slave cylinder upgrade for the clutch on our cars? having trouble with pressure on my new jwt clutch set up, at least thats what the shop i got it installed at says. I'm having a problem with the clutch not allowing me to go into gear sometimes...well 60% of the time. When i start the car and drive it shifts perfect, but when it gets warmed up or i've been driving alot, thats when I start getting the problem. Anyone getting this problem as well?

Same clutch kit, same problem. Done a system flush and bleed with minimal improvement. Next step will be a ss clutch line and some higher temp fluid. Z1 sells the line for $30.

So replaced master cylinder and slave cylinder with no improvements. My mechanic says he has worked on a car in the past a g35 coupe and it had the same problems. The coupe had to open up the transmission 3 times before he got it fixed. Long story short, coupe went back to an OEM clutch. So my next step is going to rip apart the clutch/transmission to see whats going on in there.

Maybe its because the clutch master has a low volume of fluid? as in a smaller bore and piston so theres less volume which = less movement of slave. We need a master with more volume and or a slave with less volume. Hope you understand.

Try changing the transmission fluid, if you use anything other than OE fluid the syncros tend to act up (not allowing you in gear sometimes and grinds when it does). Its a very common problem for the early transmissions, OE fluid should help but the only real fix is the CD009 upgrade, which is the most revised transmission.

Yea I'm going to try the transmission fluid change soon, even though i did it maybe before the jwt/flywheel install. Maybe the transmission fluid got dirty or something. And yea Rob, I've been looking around on here about the cd0009 transmission. Gonna look into all of these variables. Thanks for the advice Rob. I'll keep people on this thread posted.

Did you use OE fluid? I know its expensive but you would be surprised by the difference. And no problem man, let me know if I can help you with anything.

I did use OE fluid, would I have to change it again after the JWT clutch install though? I did it probally 2 months prior to the clutch install.

Sorry dude, thought I replied to this one already. I had that Z1 clutch line in for about 3 months now and the improvement is night and day. Never had a stuck or mushy pedal since, and I've been driving pretty hard. I even tracked it and drifted with great results. If you haven't gotten that line replaced yet I highly recomend you do before changing any more expensive parts. Also make sure your system is flushed thouroughly. Hope this helps, I know how infuriating this situation can be. Next issue-- fixing my rear camber/toe problem. Both rear tires inboard tread shot within 7 months, and those Falkens ain't cheap
