G35 Crankshaft! VQ35DE VS. VQ35HR

Hey guys,

I have a 04 g35 with a VQ35DE engine. I need a crankshaft for my car because the bottom is knocking. I found a crankshaft out of a 2008 g35 with the VQ35HR engine. I wanted to know will I be able to use the crankshaft out of the VQ35HR engine. The guy that is selling it says it will work in any VQ35 engine.... Please Help

It might but I doubt it, if you have rod knock buy a used longblock they will be cheaper than rebuilding your engine. Wreckers often have complete engines for a couple grand

Full long block (used) for around $1000-1500 frequently

You can find them cheaper. I have seen some go for 500.
