rough/low idle after camshaft sensor install

so my pass side went bad and replaced it with a new one from orielys since it had lifetime warranty. car starts now and works except when i go into neutral sometimes the rpm dips to 500 and is about to stall but doesnt and shoots the rpm up to 700 where it should be. so its fluctuating between 700 and 500rpms at idle.

i did ecu and idle reset. however when i do the idle reset and upon initial startup per the procedure the car starts then dies cus the rpm drops too low.

could jus be a bad sensor and gotta get another one under warranty?

thanks
