Looks great! Price seems to be reasonable, considering the price of a new Z-Tube as well.

Several weeks ago, I got the lower section of a polished aluminum CAI that I've planned to do the same thing with. Much better looking than black plastic IMO. Waiting for some time at Christmas to do the fabricating.

Does the metal tube have any influence on heating the intake air vs. the plastic tube? Thanks.

Does the tube come with the rubber/plastic expansion pieces that are integral to the OEM Z-tube ?? Your photos show these hose-clamped to the tube. If not, what's the additional cost??
