Oil Drain Plug

I know the transmission and diff. drain plugs are magnetic.
Is the 05 coupe oil drain plug magnetic as well?

If it is not, would anyone recommend getting one?

Is the one you linked Aluminum?
I can't find any info about what material it is made out of on the link you provided.

Does anyone recommend any certain type of magnetic oil drain plug?

even better, I recommend getting the fumoto drain valve. Set it and forget it. Been using this for about about 4 yrs now, not one issue..

I might stick with the magnetic drain plug Rob linked.
I like that one since it is magnetic so it'll grab onto the metal debris in the oil.
Not sure if the fumoto will.

is it really that hard to unscrew a plug that you need one with a valve? I'd much rather get the magentic plug, at least it'll collect any metal frags

^^Not hard, but keeps your hands spotless in the oil change process. I replaced a magnetic drain plug with the Fumoto valve a couple of years ago and couldn't be happier.
