Grounding kits

Didn't know which section to put this in so I just chose this one, sorry if its the wrong one. Anyways, who all here uses a grounding kit and what make do you have? I'm looking into getting one sooner or later and would like to know some options I have. Could you also post links to the site that sells them too? Thanks

Most people use Sean's Ground kit (SxExCx). He's finally put together written instructions, so it's available to people outside of So Cal. Sean's is one of the best, if not the best because he includes a ground to the transmission. I have yet to see a single person upset with his product. Do a member search on him, you'll find him pretty easily - also a vendor.

i use sxexcx grounding kit, shift much faster, and throttle accel increase by at least 5%.. but it definitely works on eliminating ur shift lag. manual guys dont have as much benefit as automatic.

The grounding kit fixed all of my throttle response issues and shifts a ton better. Money well spent on Sean's kit

I also have this kit though I haven't installed it since I got my AT built and went through my TT install. As mentioned above shipping was very quick for me (even over the border to Canada). I'm not sure about the "finally has written instructions" because I got my kit over a year ago and I got instructions with mine that were VERY comprehensive. I'm not at ALL a car guy and I had the whole thing installed in a bit over an hour I think it was. Like most have reported... not night and day difference but it did help some of my shifts- especially once I installed the transgo- and just generally made the car feel more complete.

I have been experiencing a bit of a lag between my 1-2 shifts when I'm getting on it- and I do have some hopes that getting this grounding kit put back in might help rectify this problem. Will advise.

Yes, I have a 6MT. I will post what I think once I do the install and reset the ECU...hopefully this time I will have better luck with the pedal reset. Tried it a couple of days ago and did not succeed.

I received my grounding kit from Sean on Friday. I live in PA and as you all know he's in CA. So it took 4-5 business days for the kit to arrive. The kit came with very detailed install directions with pics for an easy and quick install. I am very happy with the end result and would highly recommend it to anyone else. As for the results, its hard to tell since I also installed my Berk's HFC's the same day. Like other people say though, It gives the car a feeling of togetherness. Its hard to explain but it just feels smoother in every way. I have some pics that I will post after I upload them.
