engine hard starts/ stutter

first off i have a 06 coupe 5at and turboed. my issue just started last thursday. i was driving home from ohio when this started. i would give the car some gas to pass cars or climb a hill and when the boost gauge read 10 vac the car would bogg and lose power. figured it was bad gas so we stopped to fill up. went to turn the car on and it wouldnt start. after about 20 min it started but barely idled. i got pissed at the ruff idle and just put it in drive. after about foot the idle smoothed out and ran fine.

when i drive the car for more then 15 miles, it takes it forever to start. first start up of the day it cranks a couple of times then fires right up. car has new plugs (step colder) and fuel pump (not stock). im out of ideas and any help will be great.

Need more details.
What are your AFR's when idle/boosting?
What is your turbo setup?

Could be a few things from what your describing...

Last paragraph points to fouled plugs/faulty fuel pump/low battery voltage-

Need better description or a vid to help. GL

so a little update, car is still having starting issues. i was paying close attention to my water temp and found out that the car wont start when the temp is above 140 deg. car has thrown a few codes. i would clear them but keep gettin different codes. i have thrown these codes. P0300, P0171, P2A00, P2A03. these codes are not consistant. i have changed my plugs, maf, fuel pump, o2 sensors. im runnin out of ideas.

Was going to say temp sensor but seems like you already changed it. What about your coolant level? Also any sort of radiator leak?

Did you try putting the oem fuel pump back on? May be it has something to do with the new pump

Clean your MAF and TB. Your TB might be going bad as well or it might be dirty and needs cleaning. A few threads on how to clean it. After that you should do an ECM reset and the 3 resets we do for TB forget what they are called.

Yes fans are controlled by the ecu. It can mean 3 things:
ECU bad
Fans bad
Fans fuse blown

Fuses are cheap, better to just replace them if you don't have a tester but for a visual inspection just take it out and look in the middle. If the metal strip doesnt look deformed or melted then most likely the fuse is good, if it does look deformed/melted then a blown fuse.

I think its either the fuse or fans.

For the fans - look into getting some better replacements. The FLEX-A-LITE fans are very good fans.

What EMS are you using? I have heard some people have problems with some piggy back systems and odd starting functions.
