Valve cover and seals help
I'm looking for someone who can help me with this. I'll pay not not dealer prices. I went to my dealer for an inspection and saw that my oil is seeping into my sparkplugs. I'm told I need to replace the seals and valve covers. Anyone able to do this for me for a reasonable fee? Thanks.
They should've fixed that crap for you for free lol i have the same issue..the best investment would be r&d factory, they sell modified valve covers that won't leak for 250...after you receive the new ones and send them your old ones they return 100 dollars to you so its basically 150. They're a vendor on here

My thoughts exactly. I was just thinking this last night. The guy at dealer said that as long as it doesn't cover over an inch of the plug, it's still driveable.
I just got the DIY overhaul kit from R&D factory. For $100 you get the seals, a new oem pcv with oem seal, and oem gaskets. for $60 you can just get the seals. Those are the prices including shipping. Not cheap but at least you dont have to buy new valve covers. I got a used set of valve covers and bought a 1 & 7/8" hole saw from ace hardware and cut the old ones out. Once the old ones are out (if you cut the holes centered) you are left with perfect sized holes to insert the new ones like you would on any other valve cover with replaceable seals. Mine came out great. I painted them too before putting the new parts in. As long as you take your time and get the holesaw centered they should come out great and you shouldn't have any issues. I made an insert to wedge into the holes to center the holesaw. The cool part is with the 1 & 7/8 hole saw, the hole you cut in the baffle to get the old ones out and insert the new ones, does not penetrate into the area where the baffle is plastic welded around the holes. Hard to explain but basically you dont end up with a baffle that is any less effective. Just channels to place the new seals into still separated by a wall.
