Question 10W-30 Question

It seems 10w-30 Mobile 1 syn is supposed to be better for our engine as far as running M1 is concerned. I live in Pennsylvania. Do you guys think running this oil year round is a good idea or should I stick with 5w-30?

really? where'd you hear that.

From what I understand, for really cold temps, 5w30 is better. This past summer though, i had 10w30, but switched it back to 5w30 in november... my next oil change will be a switch to synth, and I'm probably just going to stick with 5w30 from then on.

5w-30 is definitely better for cold weather. I was reading around at www.bobistheoilguy.com
