CEL code on 06 6mt

i am in the process of getting my car smogged and ready to sell but i am blowing 2 CELs. the first one that has been on for a while is P0057 and the other one i just found was on is P2A00. i have FI HFCs and and had the P0057 since i got those on.

anyone have any input? possible i have 2 bad o2 sensors??

They're basically your O2 sensors, haven't seen the P2A00 so much, but P0057 is very common when you do HFC or test pipes, similar to the 420 and 430's. Doesn't mean that they're defective, just that they're not operating within oem specs, which is to be expected since you swapped out the OEM cats for HFC.

I'd recommed putting the oem cats back on, clearing the codes, and driving the car for a weekish so it can cycle through all the ecu readiness checks before you go to get smogged. You'll never pass with those codes on

thanks for the info. i havent seen P2A00 ever but after some research it looks like it is on the o2 sensor on the exhaust manifold.. does this seem strange?

It is possible, since you Put in the HFC, but uncommon. I would swap back to the stock cats, reset, then reevaluate
