Hey i just turned 16 and suprisingly enough my parents bought me a g35 coup black on black but without the navtigation system. I really wanna put one in and i was wondering if anybody knew the manufactuer of the display or any other screens with dvd and navigation in them that would fit in that empty department above the stereo dock. Please leave me some links for that or send me a private message also i was looking to get my car faster while still keeping the warrenty in tact, maybe some modifications or something i really wanna make my car as pimp as possible, also what do u think about some red neon under the car to match the back lights?

im sorry but if u put neons under the car i will have to hunt you down and beat you. that is got to be the dumbest thing you could ever do. i undersand that it is all taste but PLEASE dont my the g35 coupe a ricers car. if you wanted to rice out ur car you should have gotten the 350. This is a luxury car not some civic. if you wanna "pimp it out" my i sugest getting clear corrons some chrome rims and metal pedals. thats it dont put any of that other ricer [censored] on this car

as far as the Nav goes try a search you should be able to dint picture of others people's instals. some people have really nice set ups. just go to search it is on the very top part in the black section. try searching for navigation or somtihng. good luck.

Sorry for shooting you down on the neons but PLEASE dont but dumb stuff like that on this kinda car. think of it as a rice burner not a ricer.

You are probably the luckiest 16 year old, You were given the car that i am currently going to college and working my butt of to own. I am very happy for you.

Please do nice mods and not rice mods. Injen air intake, some clear corners, maybe some nice wheels would be good examples.

DON'T put a large wing on it, put neons under it, put stickers on it, put large body kits on it, and any other gaudy mod.

This is an excellent vehicle and deserves the highest quality modifications.

Even the Injen air intake looks more suited to a Civic, especially with all the red accents.

I say it's your car, do as you please. Plus, I have seen some neon kits look pretty good if doen right. You MUST make sure that none of the tubes are visible; that way, you'll just get a nice glwo emanating from under the car.

Finally, go to an excellent customn auto sound shop. You'll pay alot for good custom labor, but a great shop can modify most of the screens (alpine, pioneeer, kenwood, etc) to motorize out of the pocket, just like the factory nav. They'll have to disassemble the unit so it only will motorize out and not swing open.
